Tainted Waters by Jan Soules

Updated: Mar 1

This piece explores the unsettling relationship between industrial pollution and the natural world, focusing on toxic runoff and waste that factories release into our waterways.

Through the abstraction of factory silhouettes and toxic clouds, the quilt emphasizes the damage done to our environment. It is a call to accountability and a reflection on the urgent need for cleaner practices, Our water systems must be preserved. We need to reclaim and protect our waterways before they are lost forever.
